LIGHT UP A LIFE - Early in December each year RAH holds its annual Light up a Life holiday tree-lighting
ceremony in Hopkins Green at the corner of Nelson Street and Jefferson Street in Lexington and at the Public Library in Buena
Vista. Your donation in memory of someone or in honor of someone helps RAH meet the needs of Hospice patients and their families.
The names of all those honored are read at this moving ceremony. Blankets and chairs are available. For more information call

GROWTH THROUGH GRIEF GROUP - A support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a friend
or family member (who need not have been in Hospice care). Focus is on the grief experience and learning how to handle the
loss and changes. There is no charge. Enrollment is limited.

- Sometimes a community group holds an event for the benefit of RAH. For example, for the past few years Hampton Inn Col Alto
has held a cake walk for our benefit.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION MONTHS - RAH gives special recognition to its social workers
in March, nurses in May and CNAs in June each year.
